Iran is prepared to restart atomic discussions with the United States as long as it is approached with "respect" and "respect", Tehran's top diplomat has announced.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by go-betweens to resume discussions with the American leadership. He claimed Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran was not yet able to allow the global atomic watchdog to access bombed nuclear sites for safety concerns.

He was addressing at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an inalienable right to refine atomic fuel domestically that it will never give up" – the key factor of the deadlock in the previous talks.

Earlier Talks Unexpectedly Ended

The previous five rounds of talks between the United States and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and bitter end on 12 June when the Israeli government, with US support, targeted Iranian nuclear sites in a two-week conflict that culminated with Donald Trump claiming the sites had been destroyed. Following this, EU nations used their privilege to reinstate international penalties, but Iran maintains they have not had a substantial consequence.

Ideal Resolution Suggested

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had reached a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in prior discussions, when it was decided an local partnership with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since local refinement would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that American atomic experts could work on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. Diplomats claimed on multiple occasions they had secured an understanding with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the arrangement to collapse due to "spoilers in Washington".

Existing Situation

Iran's diplomats declared the consortium offer was now withdrawn, but it seems very probable the suggestion could be revived in certain ways if talks reopen.

Trump in recent days stated he had been obtaining communications that Iran sought to reopen negotiations, but privately Iran's diplomats claim they are not yet obtaining consistent overtures from America either straightforwardly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as the Qatari government, Egypt, the Omani authorities and Saudi Arabia. The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been charged of inactivity in the aftermath of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Tehran says dialogue is not part of a show.

Negotiating Standpoint

In his address to the gathering, aimed to paint the US as a controlling nation that exploits the concept of international law, Araghchi said the two-week conflict showed the dispute could not be ended by combat operations. He asserted the strikes began with a Washington's ultimatum for an total Iran submission and concluded with an absolute demand for a truce.

Iran is convinced the first strikes by Israel were carried out with total Washington understanding and coordination, making trust difficult to rebuild.

Dialogue Continues the Final Answer

Araghchi stated: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned diplomacy; it was the United States and the western countries that had consistently tried to impose their desires during the negotiations. Dialogue can still be active and continues the final solution to settle conflicts, but its criteria, regulations and fundamentals must be respected."

"Provided that they address to the Iranian people with the approach of dignity and honor, they will get a response in the identical language."

Restoration and Reconstruction

In what is portrayed by Tehran representatives as the battle of restoration and recovery, Araghchi stated he was confident Iran's defence capabilities "have significantly improved than before 13 or 14 June of this year. He added: "We effectively endured this war. Our enrichment knowledge, which they intended to destroy, continues to exist. The facilities and gear, if damaged, will be rebuilt; what is essential is the will of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but did not succeed to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have become stronger, more cohesive, and more backing of the leadership and the country in the aftermath of this assault."
